I have been transported back to a past I thought I had lost by this wonderful music. I don't know a better piece for exemplifying the Armenian soul! You help us all by giving us music as beautiful as this to listen to.

Had the pleasure to attend to Anush Opera performance back in 2005, in Yerevan. Nothing has quite lived up to it. Especially the closing scene. A few tears escaped running down my cheeks. Ancient Greeks would call it Katharsis. Purification of the soul by watching, feeling, empathizing with the performers.
Lovely.

C'est très beau ! Je ne connaissais pas. Je voudrais trouver le livret pour comprendre l'histoire. Où puis-je le trouver avec une tradustion en français ?
Merci de votre aide

It's amazing. Although you probably know about the story of Anush, it could be a very good thing if somebody could describe the main happenings of the three acts for the neophytes. The opera's libretto itself -- not Toumanyan's original works, has unfornuately not be seen on the internet. Does anybody know where I can find it? I know I am asking a lot, but I think it is worth it.
That version is faster than a previous one that i have too. The one played at Yerevan is at that pace. If you visit Yerevan, and wish to attend Anush Opera, the fee is 5000 AMD (2007). Not only Anush opera is of interest, by the way.
